Why You Should Make Your Own Masks Instead of Buying Them

Hello everyone! I hope tiy had a great week.

I want to discuss the benefits ofaking our own mask versus buying one that’s already made for you

I know it is much easier to buy one since it was already made for you with all the ingredients you need, but that may not be the best thing. I’ll tell you the benefits of homemade/DIY masks

  1. They are safer in the long run. Making your own masks with the ingredients you already have laying in your house is beneficial since these ingredients are not only multi-purposeful, but better for your skin. Masks that are sold in stores may contain irritants and harsh ingriednets that can do more harm then good. That way, you will benefit form using safe and natural ingredients than the unknown ones in the store masks.
  2. They’ll save you money in the long run. Since DIY masks, can be made with items you have at home, you don’t need to spend more money  buying a mask. Also, it’ll save you more money in the log run ehee you don’t need to keep repurchasing the same mask over and over again.
  3. DIY masks can tackle multiple issues at once versus only one or two issues at once. most homemade masks can treat a multitude of skin issues than buying multiple products for specific problems. Not only that will be more beneficial for your skin, it’ll be easier on your budget.

Those are some benefits for making your own masks rather than buying them. Some ingredients you can use to make your own mask include:

  1. Egg Whites
  2. Apple Cider Vinegar
  3. Fruits and Vegetables (bananas, cucumber, tomatoes & avocado especially)
  4. Baking Soda
  5. Milk
  6. Oatmeal
  7. Honey
  8. Aloe vera

Those ingredients alone can help with  common skin issues such as

  1.  Acne
  2. Oily skin
  3. Wrinkles
  4. Brightening skin
  5. Even skin tone
  6. Fade dark spots
  7. Smooth out texture
  8. Hydrate skin

. . . and the list goes on

I hope you try making your own masks. Let me lbiw how it worked out for you. Thank you for reading and see you on the next post.

  1. I agree! It’s better to use natural ingredients. Soon I will be making all of my personal care items. Already make my own face scrub and have everything to start making shampoo, body soap, lotion, AND laundry soap and fab soft.
